X1800 Fader Question

Hello,

After updating my SC5000 players and the mixer to the latest versions I am experiencing a weird behavior with the channel faders. When I put the channel all the way down while a track is playing it stops and goes to the beginning of the track. Is this supposed to happen? How can I turn this off?
