As mentioned on page 63 in the Denon Go manual, the Booth outputs are balanced, known as TRS Tip Ring Sleeve. Due to the design of balanced connections, it is perfectly OK to connect the Sleeve to the Ring (Also in XLR’s pin 1 to 3) to unblalance the connections. Depending on the technology used in the output driver, the output level may drop by 6dB, this is normal, and will NOT damage the balanced outputs.
