Problem with Auto Gate Effect

Since version 2 the autogate effect sounds very strange to me. If I had the flanger effect before, the auto gate effect also sounds like a flanger. If i come from an other effect, the auto gate sounds like a short repeat or something like that.

Does anyone else have problems with this effect ?
