I think I know the answer to this, but is it possible to somehow get the BPM to show when using tracks from a USB that haven’t been analyzed by Engine software?
I can use the non-analyzed usb via VirtualDJ and all the information for any track shows up inc BPM…just not when I play from USB directly into the controller.
Not a major issue as its kinda like playing vinyl, but I wondered if anyone here had worked out a workaround/hack.
You’ll have to run the tracks through Engine Prime in order for the BPM info to show. I’m not aware of a workaround. As you may already know, Engine is free to download and use.
Thanks guys. I had embarked on writing the bpm in the track name ages ago when I was playing on NEXUS at a local bar and did not have Rekordbox. Its a massive project, but its a kind of work around.
