Engine 2.0 and Serato Compatibility

Hey guys,

So, I might need to revert back to using Serato (I know, I really don’t want to). Not an issue with Engine, just managing my library in two locations for two systems is becoming really hard work and time-consuming.

However, I want USBs for Engine as a backup when I have my Denons with me, as well as USBs for Pioneer, but we don’t care about that.

I tried Serato with my SC6000Ms and 2.0, did not work. I rolled back to 1.6, worked fine. Is this expected? Did I miss something?

Any ideas?

I think I will run my SC6000M in dual-layer mode as a backup and use the CDJ in my local venue for now but would prefer to be able to use them on 2.0 with Serato if possible!

My 6000m works fine with serato.

Running 2.0 btw

Very odd. I just tried it again tonight, did not work at all. Downgraded to 1.6, worked absolutely fine.

I’ll see if I can do some troubleshooting.

I put them back on 2.0 and did not have any issues this time. I think it might have been an ordering issue on my setup!
