Sent my x1800 off for repairs, I was asked to fill in a spot for a show tomorrow, I’m curious how well the sc5000s work with Pioneer mixers. The DJM-900srt to be exact, will Engine Connect, fx bpm and sync work all the same?
none of that. only denon mixers understand what the prime players are sending. same vice versa with pioneer players and other brand mixers.
I notice the 900 only had one link port on the back, so I won’t have sync and all that, from player to player, but audio should work correctly right?
Simply link the SC’s together. Then you’ll at least have Engine Connect info between them. The mixer will not know anything, but audio stays audio.
Okay so drive info and bpm sync forsure that way?
Just link the 2 SC5000’s together with a network cable. Connect the audio to the pioneer (or other brand) mixer. This works fine. Use auto bpm or just tap.
