X1800 will work with any dj player on the planet. Recording can be done in the serato it self. So basically speaking - yes.
I think this is a question that you need to ask Serato. X1800 is supported but I’m not sure that the SC3900 will work if you have a later version of MacOS than Mojave. I think it should work as a Midi-controller but unsure about the audio. Try!
Using hybrid midi mode it will generate the time code, that will be sent to mixer. Midi via usb from deck to computer - will work.
