What do the parameter buttons do?

Hi, can somebody explain what the parameter buttons next to the padmodes actually do?

When in Slicer mode (holding down a clip), push the arrow keys (parameter buttons) left for 1/2 beat slices, and right for 1 beat slices. Pretty cool, actually! I don’t know what else they do, though…yet!

Thank you! I would hope so much that in the future u could alter key with those buttons… Well hopefully someone else found out what they do in other modes… Thanks for this clarification!!
