What about after loading new songs in engine prime software?

Hi, I’ve created a new SD where I put all my songs. After this, I’ve load Engine Prime, created 2 Collections and put inside all my song library.

Now all songs are analyzed and recognized perfectly both from engine prime 1.6 and my prime go with 1.6.0 engine os.

My question:

When I’ll add some new songs on my SD card how can I add them in Engine software library db without corrupt it?

Just drag and drop from SD directory to Collection’s Engine prime software? The software will add (and analyze) only the new songs or re-transfer again all the songs already inside the db?

Hello

Whilst that way may work but you will run into trouble soon.

You are meant to use Engine Prime to transfer songs to the SD

Do not put songs directly into the SD card.

Use the Sync Manager in Engine Prime desktop.

  1. Add all your tracks from your normal music folder (laptop or external drive) to engine prime

  2. After all the songs have been added, select all then analyse

  3. Then if you want you can make crates

  4. Then plug in the SD card

  5. Then use Sync manager in Engine Prime to transfer the songs to the SD card

I want to add new Songs to my USB card. After I have added the to Engine prime, will using Sync manager resend the whole library?

It should only add the new tracks to the USB, if the previous tracks were added to the USB with EP
