That’s a good idea! But I would prefer having the indicator for the small waveform. Nevertheless you should do a feature request for this.

To get any chance of any votes , however, it needs to be on a feature request form on the forum as only those post types have the voting option at the top of the post.
I’m guessing your feature doesn’t activity stop vocal clashes (something that used to be required as a DJs knowledge/skill set) it just shows an intermittent line along the waveform where the vocals are.

TBH the original post did make me chuckle too, saying it “needs to be added to avoid vocal clashing” - like there’s no possible other way (such as listening).
