Every time I turn the sc5000m on I get prompted with a box that says do you want to load user profile. My sd card is left plugged in and never showed this before but now appears on each reboot is this normal behaviour.

I would add an option in preferences to switch mode to: “Ask loading user profile yes/no”
An idea yes, but there should be a Load profile button also.
Anyway, if you simply delete the profile from your drive it will not ask for it.
Right next to the save profile on screen button, no doubt. The older model Denons required you to intentionally go in and load a profile.
