Track not responding: play/pause does nothing, jogwheel doesnt move waveform

I started having this issue a week ago and hoped 1.6.1 might fix it somehow but that did not do the trick.

I can load tracks, but I cannot play, beatjump, or jog them. Play/pause appears to work as in button starts to flash, and if i try to load a track it will say it cannot because one is playing, but the waveform is not moving at alll and there is no sound. The jogwheel will not move the waveform either, however appears to be functioning normally in that it is not white as if it is being pressed.

Do I need to send this unit back?

Unplug all the Ethernet cables and try again

Unlikely to be the same cause, but my 5000M did the same thing when I had a small stone under the platter so it could not move.

Does this issue affect both units, or just one?

Might be worth resetting the player to factory settings as well.

Just one, and also these are SC5000, sorry. I spoke with Denon and am RMA’ing the device.
