The phantom jog touches issue on the jogs

I am increasingly thinking this is a problem of the electrical contacts in the jog wheel that causes many of the phantom touch flickering when the ground is otherwise good. Pulling the jog up a millimeter or two hugging the sides to reseat it (or something) and then spinning it around a few times seems to fix it when it occurs. Might need conductive grease in there on the spindle’s electrical contacts.

I think we should leave any servicing queries to the authorised service roots, rather than people trying quack remedies laden with mights and maybes.

Working with conductive gel can get messy and there are few parts of electronic gear which should touch each other
