Technics 1210 on prime 2 low volume

Hi,

Plugged a1210 into the auxiliary channel on my Prime 2 and the volume is very low, had the deck serviced and a new RCA cable fitted got itself grounded as well, better but not enough to use. Cheers

To my knowledge, Prime2 hasn’t got a PHONO pre-amp to begin with. Only LINE level input.

Sorry to say, but an SL1210 needs a RIAA correction.

Don’t have the right experience with separate PHONO pre-amps.

All my mixers either have PHONO inputs or an internal RIAA module to connect to the channel’s PCB.

Anything between Ali-Express and a Rega is still a personal choice.
