Hi I just tried a MCX8000 standalone. I put an USB stick into it and played a song… It worked fine at first, but then suddently after playing it several times, then both the sound and waveform changed to a complete different song! Even I didnt touch or change of had heard that song before on the device! Is this a bug? or some strange auto change song in the middle of other songs? PS: It was on a brand new, probably without any engine/firmware updates.
Establishing the firmware version would be the first step here.
Actually, I just got reminded of your first posts, the ones with all the questions. Stop looking at the Mcx8000 and just go straight for the Prime4
Make sure you use a high quality USB Flash Drive. Using a slow, cheap USB drive can cause all soft of strange behavior; I’ve been there. Use this or even better ones if possible.
