Well the tradeoff in this mode would be that you would only be able to see 1 big waveform per deck, while 2 smaller ones could fit. Similarly like it is in horizontal mode.
Instead of buying cheaper equipment that is not meant for your type or style of playing and then trying to force it to “fit” it just because it is capable of having firmware updates, maybe just buy a x1850/sc6000 setup?
