Good morning,
I have two players, bought in April 2019 and they are running on the 1.5.1 engineOS and linked with the ethernet cable that came with them.
Just recently I am finding that after “a period of time” perhaps 10 minutes, I lose connection to the linked player and have to restart the player to get the link back.
Anyone finding this or have a solution please?
I have checked the lan cable and that’s fine
thank you
Try to update to 1.5.2, maybe?

I thought 1.5.1 was the latest, usually my players tell me there’s an update!
Some times they do, some times they don’t. I don’t relay on this, just check denon dj website for the newest or follow the info on the forum here.

Thank you, updated and had a little rinse… next time I record a set, I’ll see how it goes

Still happens since updating.
This past weekend I mixed for an hour and a half…for the first twenty minutes it kept happening. Then it stopped. Weird
How are you have them linked? Directly, or thru a switch/hub/router, or thru a X1800 mixer?

I suggest you to downgrade to 1.4 , if trouble still happen contact denon support
Same with my two units. There is no difference if the SC5000m connected directly or via the X1800 hub.
Here is a list of showstopper’s and issues we have with our SC5000m’s. Does by anyone else some of these problems occur too? What do you think, are these hardwarebased or Software related bugs?
Player hangs up sporadically and nothing can be operated. Restart of the player only via hard reset (remove power)
Player sometimes hangs for a fraction of a second, playback stops, Engine OS logo appears briefly, player is resetting itself, DJ performance is interrupted / recording is unusable
