Sata Drive in SC6000

Hi team,

Just bought the SC6000 loaded in SSD, 500GB. I formatted the drive with Apple Disk Utility. I can see the Hard Drive but can’t add any playlists. I cant add any crates. I also plugged in a USB and had the same issue. I’m using a new MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019), 2.4 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9, 64 GB 2667 MHz DDR4. Big Sur 11.0.1 I have the latest Engine Prime version. Does anyone have the same issue that has been able to find a fix?

Thanks Sam J

What filesystem are you using? exFat? Something else?

I have some questions about your i9 cpu. I will PM

I have tried both the Apple formats - I just tested my old iMac and its working fine on the older High Sierra

I believe the SC6000 can only write FAT32 and exFat. ExFat is reccomended. Also, set boot record to MBR

Whats MBR sorry?

When you are about to format a disk apart from the choice of ExFat/AFPS/macOS journal etc you also get option for the GUID or MBR (partition scheme)

You need to select the drive and not the volume to get the option

Drive is the upper one with the disk icon on the left panel in disk utility

Avoid Fat32
