[Resolved] Can't switch off the Sc6000

After upgrading to 1.5.1 I can’t shut down the deck whitch has the ssd inside.

It just gets stuck in the shutdown process… and i have to hold the power button down for 5 seconds or more to hard reset.

How do i fix it?

This happened to me once too, only I was using a USB stick. The next time, I ejected the USB and it shut down OK. Not sure how this works with SSD (although I am getting one today).

What format is the SSD?

I have Sandisk ExFat SSD 1Tb installed in the 6000m and shuts down easily.

Either FAT32 or ExFat, whatever windows 10 gave me as the choice when I fully formatted it.

I’m getting the same but after they freeze. Both the sc6000s are freezing into locked mode and won’t respond. They even caused the 5000ms to do the same but never had this before the 6000s were connected!

Mine did the same on both decks but after restarting it shuts down fine

I sorted this, had to disconnect the ssd, update the firmware again. Cycle on and off… and then out the ssd back in… Now works fine.

I’ve now got the SSD installed on one deck and haven’t had the problem again. It happened once to me after updating to 1.5.1.
