Am I seeing this wrong or is the “Remove from collection” function in the context menu, right next to “Remove from crate/playlist” a bit dangerous? It happened to me a couple of times that I almost clicked onto “Remove from collection” when I wanted to kick a song out of the playlist or crate.
I’m not even sure if there’s a confirmation prompt and there’s no recycle bin, is it?
+1 One time I removed entire playlist from collection because of this. It was a copy of another playlist and instead of having one copy I ended up with two empty ones…
I want this so much. A pain to accidentially remove a track from collection, when I just wanted it removed from playlist. And Engine has no “undo” functionality.
I honestly don’t know of a single application (and I’m an administrator and oversee hundreds of applications!) that has such a critical function without some kind of user confirmation.
I suppose they were in a hurry to program it there…
And I also don’t understand why it takes so long to put a confirmation prompt in there.
