Rane 12 to control layer b

It would be great to be able to control layer b with an external control like a rane 12.

It would have a lot of sense to add a usb midi controller to second layer like at least a 8 pad + some buttons for basic control. Midi mappable or with fixed midi notation so we could use a mappable controller like NI X1/F1 or something similar (to have a sampler like functionality of layer B) just to lunch the track and hot cues.
