I see that it’s recommended to format media as fat32 or ExFat … has one or the other proven to be more reliable? Or are they both working well?
I believe (I’m sure some will correct) exFat is better for files sizes, as there are no restrictions, but fat32 is Rekordbox compatible (which exFat is not).
Thanks guys. I only plan to use the PRIME 2, so I’ll try exFat and if I have any problems, I’ll try fat32. I can’t wait for the PRIME 2 to come out.
Yes but all fast usb 3.0 devices are factory formatted in eXfat. Fat32 file format is an old format, reliable but old.
