Anyone experience the volume rise suddenly when the X fader contour is in the middle? if i am mixing and begin to take deck 2 into the mix it comes in extremely loud?

any idea why this is happening? should it be set differently?

Try lowering the gain control on the top of each fader - that way the music source levels will all match each other.

I’d suggest that if you don’t like the results now, try changing the contour. Have you tried changing the contour?

Hello,

Just purchased a Prime 2 and love it so far.

I am having the same issue with my crossfader. A sudden rise in volume when blending in a new channel.

I realize that there should be some volume / gain when mixing 2 channels, but the sudden rise is abrupt.

When I turn the Crossfader curve down to slow slope, this issue is not present, so I am beginning to think it is a fader / hardware issue.

I have purchased a new Innofader to try, but I am hoping Denon will look into it and give us a reason.

Thanks for your help in advance.
