There is one thing I am really missing and this is to preview a song by using hardware controls and not by tapping on the display. Especially If I am using a SC6000 LC6000 combination it feels unnatural to use the display if I am going to load a song to the LC6000 deck.
One possibility would be that a long press on the (select) forward button would open a temporary dialogue displaying the audio waveform (as long as pressed). With the select encoder it would be possible to scroll true the song (change play position).
Alternatively (for LC6000) the needle drop strip could be used in song selection mode to start playing the preview (touch) and to scrub through the song.
Is this something others are missing as well and would it be worth to open a feature request for it ?
