Hi, I have noticed that the black portion of the jog wheels on my sc5000s appear to have what I can only describe as dents in them. One player has a dent towards the edge of the jog close to the outer grey edge, and the other with some smaller push dents.
I know nothing has dropped on the platters, I am ridiculously careful with them, but I was wondering if this black part, the capacitive part is some form of adhesive bound panel, and if so, can it be replaced?
I have noticed some issues in vinyl mode on occasion where touch doesnt appear to pause playback, and I have allowed the device to calibrate and it is grounded. Usually a restart of the deck resolves this. I did wonder if the capacitive part of the platter is a stick on panel and it is warped somehow if this would impact the touch sensitivity and cause these issues.
