im not so sure, it can be annoying as it only takes a few seconds to analyze a track so it would make sense for it to stay on. Of course the issue is totally solved if you prep your tracks first.

That auto gain feature needs to be in every software as it has been for decades in Serato, rekorbox, and virtual DJ as I have told Denon time and time again it’s a big problem that it’s not there. If it wasn’t meant to be or it was not helping don’t you think the king of DJ software that have been around much much longer then Denon would have removed it long ago? I spoke with Denon about auto gain probably a year ago and their direct words to me were it’s not needed and they were worried about distortion. If it’s been done for decades upon decades by the big guys in the DJ software Denon should 100% have it in there engine prime software along with steps and by the way Sync should not be on any controller that’s not djing. If you need SYNC your not a real DJ.

That would be great Jay if it actually worked. This is why auto gain is the best option it would be done on the analyzation process in the prime DJ software like all other pro software has been doing for decades all other controllers still have gain controls and there is still every once in a while a gain adjustment however with auto gain enabled on any software Serato, virtual DJ and record box all use it for good reason if your best mixing you don’t always have time to adjust volume levels and with auto gain you almost never have to. Some tidal tracks are way louder and some are very low, sometimes even using the gain controls on each channel it’s not enough to match it as an example play a 80 dance track and try mixing it with a track from today or a 50’s song and see what happens when you have to adjust not only the gain but the master volume and the volume on powered speaker to make it sound the way it should. Auto gain is the best option it can be toggled on or off on every software why should your software have that same option.??? It would make the unit so much better that it currently is! And WHERE ARE STEMS???
