I’ve recently started digital mixing being an old Skool vinyl DJ.
When I first started I wasn’t analysing my tracks in EP as I play house music and the Prime Go or Prime 4 analysing them in the fly pretty well.
I have been adding a little time stamp to the file name and creating playlists by folders in windows onto SD card and ordering them with a letter ie A) 4.54 Track 1 B) 5.07 Track 2 etc - this is so I know what time to drop the next track so I get a great researched mix.
I’m now getting into mixing DnB and Pystrance and realise beatgridding and cue points are absolutely necessary for this style if music.
However when creating a playlist of tracks on EP and then view it on the unit itself the file name no longer shows and instead it’s the name taken from the meta.
Is there anyway to show the file name instead in the list view?
