Hello – Could someone please explain how to perform keyword search of comments field for tracks in library from the SC5000 user interface in both standalone mode as well as controller mode (such as with Serato DJ Pro). Thank you.
Hi, it’s not possible to search the comment field. It is coming in an update. Not sure when though.

Thanks for info. Appreciated. Certainly hope this update is coming soon since comments is one of, if not THE most important fields to search while performing live. Mission critical actually. Anyone happen to know why this basic function has been missed so far?

Yeah agreed, it’s pretty important, No idea why it was missed. I’m hoping they are going to expand on it and add myTag similar to Rekordbox.

It’s in the latest firmware update 1.3.1. in standalone mode at least.
