How to get playlists from internal SSD (prime 4) in to Engine prime

Hello,

From day one I’m struggling to get music stored on my prine 4’s internal SSD in to the MacOS software (using both 1.5 and 1.6 beta). When I activate the sync manager, most of the playlists are grayed out and not possible to sync them to the engine Prime database. I do not understand. So please can someone help me out getting the songs on to the Macbook pro.

Editing songs on the internal SSD when in PC mode will work, I can play songs from the SSD and make hot cue’s and loops and adjust beat grid. Then after going back to stand-alone mode the changes are there.

I just need to get songs and playlists on my laptop !! Tnx in advance

Hello Dj Phil, what is the OS version of your Mac and what year is it and what format is used on your ssd (Exfat, Fat32 …)?

It’s a known problem, and people have raised this issue before. So far though, nothing has been done.

The Sync Manager does not do what you would expect, based on the name.

It can only sync playlists from Engine Prime, but not back the other way.

The Macbook Pro is late 2019, 4 TB ports, 8GB ram, i5 4 cores. OS is Catalina latest release and Engine Prime is 1.6 beta (also 1.5 installed). SSD is 1TB and exFat formatted.
