Hi I have noticed a big problem with version 1.6. With 70s songs warp if I use the sinc everything is ok but when I turn off the tempo is variable and the song speeds up or slows down and it is not possible to mix properly. It didn’t happen with 1.5
Because when sync is not active the song will play as it was produced.
The initial beat grid that was launched with Engine prime was set to warp to a fixed bpm, now it’s changed to flexible grid.
I particularly didn’t like the previous warp mode as even when the music was being played at the warped steady tempo I can hear pitch changing as Engine plays it back at the fixed tempo.
You can start a feature request for an option to bring that back if it’s mission critical that you want the funk and disco songs to remain at a constant BPM.
