I’m experiencing really slow transfer speeds also, i’ve done multiple tests with different memory sticks that I’ve used i the past with Traktor libraries as well as plain old regular data transfers and have never seen these sticks perform like this.
I was also questioning why my fan speeds weren’t increasing and why my CPU wasn’t crapping out. Can we turn the eco2020 mode off please Devs?
Yep, I posted a similar issue and some tests coping from a network mount to USB 3.0. Engine Prime has a huge bug that is causing very slow reads and writes. I even tested from my internal SSD to USB 3.0 in Engine Prime vs rsync in the command line, Seconds/minutes vs hours/data.
As a software engineer for nearly 20 years I usually find these issues are rarely the dev teams fault but a function of the priorities they are working too. Making EP work for people who have spent years collecting music and amassed large libraries isn’t going to make headlines.
