Now that I’ve downloaded Engine Prime 1.2.1 and MCX8000 V2.0, Do I need to keep the Engine 1.5 software?

Ok. I like what I see in the Prime 4. Can a laptop be connected to the Prime 4 in case the screen malfunctions?
