When I load Engine Prime the Devices lists every external drive attached to my computer. That includes my backup drives and even me removable DVD drive. I’d like to be able to select a drive and have it no longer shown in Engine Prime in future (of course there could be an option in settings to change that if needed later). Then I wouldn’t keep getting the “is incompatible with Engine Hardware” message every time I start the program.

Totally agree with this. Any false messages removal would improve the experience. tis is clearly something that should be user definable.
You’re right: all this is a great pain in the ass. See if a request already exists and if necessary enter it yourself. You will have my vote.
