Good day everybody. Today I installed the v2.0 firmware for the MCX8000 at the club. Got a bit of a problem.While playing a song using Engine and applying the echo effect the audio drops for a second then the echo kicks in. Fresh USB and fresh library tracks exported using engine prime software. Software is also updated to latest version.
My guess is that you have the echo set to 100% maximum when you press the echo button? This will cause the echo to fill the buffer and drop out for a second or so (it depends of how many beats the echo is set to).
Try bringing in the echo starting from 0% up to 100%. As you do it you can also add a twist of the filter from the mixer do polish the effect a little.
I’ve found you can’t ‘punch’ in the echo, only bring it in.
