Crossfade issue

I i have mc4000 just got it and crossfade doesnt work on controler but if i take mouse use it on computer screen it does. I have tried it with serato and virtual dj. The crossfader doesent even move on computer screen when i move it on 4000

I just bought mc4000 and cross fader works when i use mouse to move it but wont move with crossfader on board
