Yeh, I did that… but the only compensation Ableton does is really to delay the start of non audio inputs to match the lag… so your left with offset between monitor and mixer in your headphones. Back to digital input I think. Although I haven’t tried removing Driver Error Compensation totally in Ableton and seeing if it works…
Can you explain the problem? I would assume that the visual representation of the recording is just so you can glance occasionally and check your levels (even though you should use mixers master VU meter for that), don’t see the need to have DVS style low latency like you’re trying to beatmatch too audio signals from two sources
