If Denon DJ equipment lineup continue to grow and diversify, at the same time with improving long term software support, you can expect the prices of used Pioneer DJ equipment to go down also. Of course, anyone has the right to ask whatever he wants on his equipment, but it’s not mandatory that the asking price will be met by a potential buyer.
It’s all depends on what the foolish buyer will pay for it.
I’ve seen 10 year old Macbooks sold for crazy amounts of money, while they are certainly not better than the competition. We can discuss this at length, but the resell value is nowhere near the real value. We see that also with iPhone and Galaxy. Fiat and Volkswagen. Etc.

We use electronic devices which prices drop down every 6 months.
My Ddj800 has lost half its value since july. Denon products too
