Be able to define the number of cores or threads of the processor to use when analyzing the tracks

  • **What is the feature or ability you would like to have?**Be able to define the number of cores or threads of the processor to use when analyzing the tracks (offline analyzer)

  • **How will this feature help you and others?**Engine could be used in a few-core PC without engine prime crashing and closing improperly or allow work in other resource demanding programs while performing this task

  • **Is this feature available in an existing product? If so, what product?**yes, many audio or video format converters etc have it

  • Does a workaround currently exist? no

  • How often would you use this feature? 70% of the time

  • **Is there any additional information you’d like to add?**In my first-generation 2-core, 6 Gb RAM ram, it is impossible to use the engine to export the music to an MCX8000 because when it starts analyzing it it closes unexpectedly when trying to run 4 instances of offline analyzer at the same time

A tiny bit of research and I found that we can all do this already on windows 10. You can tell the operating system how many cores each app of the computer should use. In windows 10 it’s called cpu throttling
