Ability to hide tracks when sorting through collection

Hi Everyone, Im a Residential DJ at a Casino bar, the crowd can be constantly changing and depending on the mood or requests my set usually covers a variety of genres. I’m just getting into Denon and was wondering if the software has the ability to hide, tags, genres, or playlists from appearing when DJing from collection view. This way if I got mainly snowbirds, and their families i can instantly hide all my songs with explicit tags, maybe all tags that fit underground, so all my non commercial stuff. Its frustrating having a massive library of music that covers alot of different gigs and not being able to “trim the fat” when looking through ones collection. I know I can make playlists and crates its more of a desired workflow if anything.

I’m unaware of any DJ system that is reductive in the search, in the way you’re asking. I think you might need to think in terms of tags and intuitive search for distilling your search down to what you require.

I can see a use for this , certainly the explicit tag or inclusion of the word “explicit” in any field, would be useful.

Similarly, having the search results not showing Christmas/holiday songs during 10 months of the year would be useful

If you put this suggestion into one of the forums official suggestion forms, so that I can vote for it, I’ll vote for it

I think this really comes under the request(s) for filter folders/smart playlists, where you can specify that you don’t want anything containing “explicit” (etc).
