I am trying to install the firmware update provided 1-10-18 but can’t get past a message that appears, _“The DENON DJ device was not found. Please ensure that the device is attached to your computer and is in firmware update mode, and then run this update again”. I have the controller connected to the laptop but cannot find a single hint of how to put it in “firmware update mode” as its not in the user guide or anywhere I can find on the website. I’m in a never ending loop of links that never describes the steps to take to install this update. Need some help.

In the downloaded package there is a PDF file of instructions.
The update install mode is accessed by holding down certain buttons on the MC7000 while powering the MC7000 on. The instructions on the PDF give that button info .
