Hi just wondering why some mp3 files won’t play on my mcx8000

Read the FAQ - MCX8000 only supports 44.1KHz files, so any other sample rate (such as 48KHz) won’t be playable.
This info (and more) is in the FAQ…
You can bounce the tracks in/out of audacity to change sample rates if at 48KHz down to 44.1KHz, I have had some mp3`s weirdly at 48KHz with the issue you describe.
